Walking with Purpose - A women's bible study - 9:30 am - Community Room

Monday, October 16, 2017

Small groups meet in the Church Community room on Monday mornings from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. or on Monday evenings 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. We are blessed with over a hundred and twenty women of all ages and stages of life that participate in this program.  Our hope is that each woman that comes encounters the love of Christ.  That she feels sought after, loved, and supported in her Christian vocation. Childcare for children infant – five years old is provided during the morning sessions.

The Women of Walking with Purpose invite you to join us as we embark on an exciting new study designed to foster and deepen our relationship with the Holy Spirit.  The ancient Celts used to refer to the Holy Spirit as, “The Wild Goose.” They saw a wildness to the Spirit, an unpredictability. They understood that the Holy Spirit has been given to us not as a possession to be tamed or controlled, but rather as a Person that will lead us to the Heart of God.

Join us as we accompany Franciscan priest, and Walking with Purpose Chaplain, Fr. Dave Pivonka, in a video each week as he speaks on an attribute of the Holy Spirit, offers a practical application on how to respond to the Holy Spirit, and shares testimonies of people from across the country whose lives have been impacted by the Spirit of God.  The video’s will be followed by time for small group discussion and refreshments.
